NH House of Representatives
Rockingham County, District 13
Patrick
Abrami

Patrick F. Abrami, a 27-year resident of Stratham, NH, filed papers this week as a candidate for one of the eight state representative seats
within the Exeter, Stratham, and North Hampton House District. Raised on Long Island, New York, and having lived in Massachusetts, Maine,
and New Jersey before settling here has given him an appreciation for the New Hampshire local control form of government. Having
experienced big government, big spending, and even bigger taxing states firsthand does make him uniquely qualified to help lead the
effort to return New Hampshire to its core governing philosophy of no broad-based taxes, local control, and limited Concord influence
over our lives. He knows what these other states have done that has lead them to fiscal disaster.
Pat attended the University of Buffalo, where he earned both a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research and was
inducted into Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honor Society. He is a partner and owner of Applied Management Systems,
a healthcare operations consulting firm. During his 37-year career, he has consulted in 400 hospitals in 30 states. He is a
Fellow and
Life Member in the Health Management Information Systems Society. Pat hopes his many years of experience in improving
operations
can be applied to ensuring an efficient state government.
He has two grown children who were raised in Stratham and over the years he has been active in the community. He was responsible for
organizing a girls recreation basketball league and annual tournament with local towns surrounding Stratham. He also coached girls
basketball, including the travelling team. He was a member of the Great Bay Little League Board and coached baseball along with
softball, and soccer as well.
Other community involvement was with the Boy Scouts as his son progressed to Eagle Scout, the Food Kitchen at the Salvation Army, and in
recent years as a volunteer at the Stratham Fair.
A personal accomplishment was becoming a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) 4,000 Footer Club by climbing the 48 peaks in
NH over 4,000 feet. This gave him an appreciation of our state treasure, the White Mountains. He ultimately did all 67 peaks
over 4,000 feet in New England to receive that AMC patch as well.
Pat has outlined his top 10 legislative guiding principles for success:
* Local control is best
* No broad-based taxes
* Only accept efficient/effective/quality government
* A business-friendly environment is good for all NH citizens
* The fabric of our state is its families
* High educational standards and classrooms free of distractions
* Preservation of NH’s beauty
* Volunteerism and community service in lieu of big government programs
* Energy independence without taxes
* Common sense that leads to fiscal responsibility and restrained spending
Pat indicated, “I am running for our ‘Citizen Legislature’ simply because
I am a citizen who loves this state and its traditional values. I can
no longer sit on the sidelines as our state spends beyond its means. NH has a traditional fiscal model other states should emulate. Instead,
the current House, Senate, and governor are repeating the mistakes of so many other states that are approaching bankruptcy. We need to return
to our common sense values and approach to governing”.

Ron Dupuis

My name is Ron Dupuis
and I'm a candidate for State Representative in Rockingham District
13, which includes North Hampton, Stratham, and Exeter. The reason
that I'm running is because I'm angry. As angry as
I have ever been in my sixty five years. The current administration
that has control in Concord is, in fact, out of control. With questionable
accounting practices and an increase of 17% of general fund spending,
the State has a budget gap of over $600
million, which will be passed on the the cities and towns in the form
of increased taxes, fees, and new mandated responsibility.
If elected I promise to join forces with like minded Republicans and fight the profligate ways of the current administration
and return New Hampshire to sound fiscal policies.
Please, vote Ron Dupuis for State Representative.
Thank you,
Ron Dupuis

My wife, Gail, and I
have
lived in Exeter for more than 21 years. We
raised our two children, Michael and Sara, here in Exeter where they attended
Exeter
public schools. I've been a regular fixture at Town and School Board Deliberative
sessions and Board meetings where I learned the value of local control.
I attended
Norwalk State Technical College in Connecticut where I earned an
Associates Degree in Chemical Engineering
Technology. I then went on to the University of Oklahoma where I
earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. While
working full-time in Ohio, I earned an MBA from Kent State University.
I'm running for State Representative from Exeter, Stratham and North Hampton because I can no longer stand on the sidelines and watch this
Legistature recklessly spend our children and our grandchildren further into debt. I want to help restore this great State's economy
and create jobs.
I've worked in the environmental
field for all of my career, primarily in the energy sector. Until
my retirement in May 2010, I worked for Wheelabrator Technologies
of Hampton, a subsidiary of Waste Management Inc. for 21 years.
As Vice President of Public Affairs, my primary function was managing
government affairs where I had a great deal of interaction
with state legislatures all across the U.S. In this position, I spent
a lot of time in Concord and I've seen first-hand the inefficiencies
and excess spending of this legislature.
I love this state and
am very concerned about its future and that it won't be the same
wonderful place for my children to raise their children.
I believe that my private
sector experience has well prepared me to make a real difference
in Concord!
I beleive that New Hampshire can recover and we can restore the New
Hampshire Advantage. I want to make New Hampshire once again a
place where people and businesses will want to move to and not
move from.
